10 THINGS YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT… SARAH L!

We’re crazy happy to welcome the art-loving, volcano-climbing, breakfast (as long as it doesn’t contain goat’s cheese) fan that is Sarah L to the Wonderfam.

Sarah joined us as a consultant earlier this month and has already settled in a treat, which is no mean feat given we’re all still working from home. Here’s 10 things you (probably) don’t know about her (the moist cheeks thing, what?!):

  1. I’ve been a part of one of the world’s longest-running longitudinal studies since I was born. Based on their research, they have concluded people called Sarah Layzell are the best kind. Maybe. Well, not really, but they have found out some other useful stuff, I guess.
  2. I was once chased by a wild seal on a remote beach in New Zealand. A truly exhilarating and terrifying experience and I credit that seal for giving me a lust for life.
  3. I can confirm seals are much, much faster than you’d think
  4. I was born in Bristol and live here now but spent most of my life growing up in Cardiff. I have a huge soft spot for Wales and West Wales is hands down one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. CYMRU AM BYTH!
  5. I am the daughter of a man that modelled for Oxo Cubes, which was, unsurprisingly, the end of his modelling career
  6. I am very passionate about breakfast – it truly can make or break a day for me. My favourite would be a Mexican breakfast taco or a runny poached egg on sourdough with spring onions and hot sauce *chef’s kiss*
  7. I love to draw and paint. It’s one of the few things that really relaxes me, especially when paired with back-to-back Bob Ross.
  8. I once met Neil Patrick Harris at a private magician’s club in LA where he proceeded to show me a slight of hand trick. It was simultaneously one of the best and most bizarre moments of my life.
  9. I have a really stupid, mild allergy to goat’s cheese which causes my cheeks to get slightly… moist (sorry). I can’t find any explanation for why this happens so if you know, please let me know!
  10. I have climbed up Mount Doom! Well, not really, but I have been up Mount Ngauruhoe, the active volcano used as the location for Mount Doom in the Lord of The Rings trilogy. It was very steep, and I was very, very unprepared.

IT COULD BE OH SO BEAUTIFUL
