10 things you probably didn’t know about…. Aoife!

The most excellent Aoife joined us this year, heading up Wonderland’s work in Ireland.

She’s schooled us in the way of the craic and often has a comedy celebrity story or ten to share – you’ll get to read some of them right here, in these 10 things you probably didn’t know about her:

The most excellent Aoife joined us this year, heading up Wonderland’s work in Ireland. She’s schooled us in the way of the craic and often has a comedy celebrity story or ten to share – you’ll get to read some of them right here, in these 10 things you probably didn’t know about her:

  1. To pronounce Aoife.. just read backwards… {EFA}
  2. Justin Timberlake once called his wife over to admire my sparkly brogues I could see strong shoe-envy in her eyes!
  3. I’ve ran six half-marathons, but still no interest in running a full one – I keep thinking maybe someday, but then again… Nah!
  4. Our family business is a quarry in Co Tipperary, I can drive a loader and I know my sandstone from my limestone!
  5. I tried to chat up Josh Hartnett at a music festival many moons ago, I got his attention with my unique (made-up) knowledge of his Irish surname Hartnett. Suddenly Helena Christiansen slinked over and draped her long lithe self on his shoulder… As she looked at me she tilted her head to the side and said, ‘how cute’.. it was such a gracious marking of her supermodel territory that I quickly plodded away in my wellies…
  6. I have always had an on-off relationship with radio, I presented breakfast radio in college, was a newsreader for a while, and have been on as a contributor on a few different shows, most recently trying out a couch for a friend live on Today FM– a very Bridget Jones moment.
  7. I am proof that picky eaters, can become all round foodies… I used to only ever order a chicken breast with sauce on the side… I even did this in the many Indians in Brick Lane! Then in my early 20s I went travelling and had to change my ways in order to survive. Now I’ll eat anything… except lamb – they’re too cute or duck, I have webbed toes it would be like eating a cousin!
  8. My favorite karaoke song is No Scrubs…

‘a scrub is a guy who can’t get no love from me’

  1. I worked for many years with Westlife and The Script, when they would arrive into Dublin on their album promo campaign, they would often decide last minute to go home to their family homes. So instead of their VIP suites going to waste I would secretly stay in the Four Seasons and enjoy the bottles of bubbles and Grey Goose awaiting their arrival… (just don’t tell them)
  2. I have a little one-year old son called Fionn Lewis Fitzgerald, he is the ray of sunshine in my every day, as is his Dad, my lovely hubby Kevin. Fionn means fair in Gaeilge, he’s a strawberry blonde little man, and hope he is fair to everyone he meets in life.

IT COULD BE OH SO BEAUTIFUL
