they can be exciting and explosive with ideas cascading out like molten hot magma… or there are days where try as you might, all you can muster is a coal-bucket of shite!
Last summer, one wonderful Wonderland brainstorm generated the diamond idea that Heinz could produce Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise with real Irish shamrock in it, as a celebration of its beautiful relationship with Ireland.
Heinz Ireland had asked us for a campaign that would help alleviate the humdrumness of Level-5-Lockdown-Living, something that would give people a smile. So we presented them with our shamrock idea and they LOVED it. So did Heinz UK – and so a Heinz St. Patrick’s Day campaign was born.
Although shamrock grows in Ireland in nearly every woodland, strip of forestry and that bit of marshy land near your granny’s house, finding the right shamrock takes a bit of Jessica Fletcher-ing.
Step forward James O’Leary the the owner of Irish Plants International. They have been providing the shamrock that has been presented to the President of the USA in the White House every St. Patrick’s Day since the 1960s. This is no ordinary shamrock, this is the rock-star of shamrock!
Fast forward to St Patrick’s Day: The jars of Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise have made it through Brexit customs (a feat in itself) and there are 150 available for people to win, 75 jars available in Éire and 75 available in the UK.
Just visit @HeinzIRL / @HeinzUK on Instagram or Facebook – and you could be one of the lucky ones!
