Being a conscious agency is something we pride ourselves on – – every member of the Wonderfam is committed to doing good, and the idea of supporting people and the planet runs deep in our agency.
Back in 2019 we selected a charity partner for 2020, with the view of supporting them long term with whatever they might need – whether it be money, time or both. Being Bristol-based and passionate about the issues surrounding homelessness, we were instantly drawn to Caring in Bristol.
Caring in Bristol is a brilliant Bristol-based charity doing amazing, vital work to solve homelessness in the city and beyond. Working in creative ways, and drawing on a bank of long-standing community partners, they have been leading the way to create lasting change in Bristol.
We were lucky enough to see their work and the impact it has first-hand when we volunteered as a team at Christmas last year, at their pioneering Caring at Christmas project. We’ve admired their creativity and campaigns forever so it felt like a match made in Wonderland heaven!
Throughout 2020 we’ve loved helping Caring in Bristol raise the profile of some of their awesome initiatives, including Cheers Drive, a new project set up quickly during lockdown to provide a meals on wheels service to rough sleepers housed in temporary accommodation. It’s one of the many things Caring in Bristol have done to react to changing circumstances during the pandemic and the impact on Bristol’s homeless.
In what was a very challenging year, we helped Caring in Bristol raise their profile in Bristol and beyond. The strength of the partnership we’ve formed over the last few months meant we’ve been able to react quickly to everything 2020 has thrown at us and carve out a comms strategy that we will continue to build on in 2021.
As a team, we’ve really valued our work with this very special charity. We firmly believe that ‘Kindness is Strength’ and to still be able to help make an impact this year is a real gift.
Thanks to everyone at Caring in Bristol for having us on board this year, especially Antonia. What a woman. We’re looking forward to doing more great work with you over the Christmas break and into 2021. 💙
