Alison started Wonderland in 2016, just her, sitting in her “office” (aka bed), with one client, probably eating Twiglets and/or a crumpet, and it’s fair to say things have changed a fair bit since then. (Not the Twiglets though.)
It’s been one hell of a ride so far, and to everyone who’s been part of it, who’s worked with us or championed us – a million thank yous. We can’t believe where we’ve got to in five years, and we couldn’t have got here without you.
We wanted to celebrate our 5th birthday somehow, but the usual cake, fizz and VERY sweary speech from the founder was leaving us a bit cold. And that’s even before you try to do it over Microsoft Teams.
Our mission is to rebel against boring – we wanted something different.
We wanted something that shows what we care about at Wonderland, something that fires up our passion and purpose, and something a bit less out of the question right now than a bloody massive rave. (A legal one, at least.)
So today we’re launching the WONDERFUND – in 2021 we’ll be donating 5% of our time to 5 brilliant causes close to our collective hearts, nominated and voted on by the Wonderfam, with a dedicated fund created to support these causes.
We can’t wait to tell you more about what causes we’ll be supporting and why they’re important to us, so keep an eye out for updates on the blog or our socials over the next couple of weeks.
And in the meantime, pass us the Twiglets.
